It’s not just about winning.

A bit of a cliché, but this time its true – taking part is as important as winning. The competition will be an experience you can put on your CV. You’ll be working with some top organisations, getting to know what work is all about and how to put your skills to good use. It’s an ideal opportunity not just for students but also if you’re out of work or training.

Enjoying any one of many Experience Days spending time with one of our major businesses and other organisations learning how they operate, how they market their products and how they train staff
A Presentation Skills workshop where you will learn how to present yourself and your business idea
Taking part in a Business Lunch where you will give a minute sales pitch for your business idea
Mock Interviews to help with those interviews for new jobs, college or university places or interviews for skilled work.
Taking part in a Dragon’s Den and not getting your team fired!

There will be lots of people on hand to help you. Our Youth Engagement Workers will provide support from the Learning Shop, by text or if you are at college the place where you study. Mentors from businesses and organisations you can contact on line and they can give you lots of information. Graduates from last year’s Next Top Boss programme will be on hand to pass on a few tips!
