Lakeside Hammers Speedway Business Challenge at Harris Chafford Academy from 09:00-10:00

- An additional presentation at Palmers College will be announced shortly
- Those teams that complete the Lakeside Hammers Speedway will stand a chance of winning a VIP package for a Lakeside Hammers event when the new season commences in March 2012.
- The winners of the VIP package will be announced at the Next Top Boss Awards Ceremony on Monday, 19 March 2012.

Mock Interview session led by DP World at Harris Chafford Academy
- Led by a HR specialist from DP World, mock interviews will take place at Harris Chafford Academy on Monday, 16 January December

London Gateway Marketing Challenge on location at DP World (times to be confirmed with participants)
- Construction is underway at London Gateway the UK’s newest deep-sea container port and Europe’s largest logistics park, 25 miles east of central London.
- When complete, London Gateway will create 36,000 jobs. It will enable the world’s largest container ships to call at the heart of the UK’s economic and population centre. The port’s highly efficient road, rail and sea links will offer a quicker, cheaper and more environmentally-friendly way to transport goods to their destination.
- London Gateway needs to get this message out to potential clients, to those who may be interested in one of the thousands of jobs being created by London Gateway, and to the millions of UK residents whose products arrive from all over the world. London Gateway is pleased to announce the London Gateway Marketing Challenge. Participants in the Next Top Boss (NTB) will be challenged to devise a dynamic marketing plan for DP World London Gateway using print, broadcast, advertising, and online media online media including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Londongateway.com.
- Sixteen individuals will be able to participate in this challenge. Following a introduction to London Gateway and a tour of the site the NTB competitors will be split into groups of four and begin devising their plan. Groups will meet with a Marketing Advisor who will guide the group in preparation for their final presentation to the London Gateway Marketing Board.
- This challenge will take place on location at DP World on Wednesday, 18 January 2012.
